My copy of this release is on mostly flat and quiet vinyl with only slight surface noise and the rare pop (not cleaned). The soundstage is very big and the vocals are way out front along with the Stevie's guitar. There's a fair amount of mid and high end detail but the drums are a bit muddled. Low frequencies are thin on some tracks and overly heavy on others. Still, musically this is an amazing album. Great guitar tone and plenty of volume. It's not perfect, but it's blues and it's real.
